Designer of talkative Images,in which the
oneiric speech holds as much place as the
picture itself, Ric hardly considers himself
as a "painter" on the common meaning ,
although he spent most of his time along
17 years ( 1979 / 96 ) applying pigments
on canvases , using painter's brushes.
His goal is not to get famous in the world
of art, but to track the greatest mystery of
the created world : the double nature of
all thing. As a matter of fact, he could as
well had done the same work through a
musical creation , carving or writing ,
exacting the same way in rigourous
constructions , with the same interest for
esthetic , and the same respect for those
who would "read" his creations , the same concern : send clear and pleasant messages for the soul , bring positive feelings to his
human fellows .So, one should not be
astonished to find the traces of this search
in the majority of his pictures, in which
the Masculine and the Feminine figures are
reconciled or clashed, the top and bottom,
the inside and the outside merge, the heat
and the cold manages to be harmonized in
spite of the violence of the primary
colors which he uses, at the pure state .

and his economic situation reduced the same to an absolute minimum .
But do not feel sorry for him : having been twenty years old in 1968, he still trails with him the
after-effects of a destruction-proof Utopia and is very well and happy as he is savagely an
irreducible autodidact, he is unaware of the modes, the rules, the doctrines :
only counts the search .
