Oils on Canvas selected starting from various series, presented here
under the generic title of " ONEIRIC SYMBOLISM ".

Paintings designed and carried out between 1982 and 1998, following a technique of more
" traditional ": oil on canvas, in successive layers , fat on thin, which means a long time
of dryins (in fact, oxidation) of the layers. Preparation being sometimes spread out over
several months, design of some of the images over several years, the 16 tables which are
gathered in this unit belong to one and only confused temporality. Places of design and of
realization were multiple, and distributed between the extreme south of Spain, the south east
of France and the north of Germany. Simple flashes of inspiration or long maturation of an
original impression, these images have in common only one and surrealist topic: they are
self sufficiant and carry each one a quiet and timeless message that my own unconscious
addresses to the unconscious of the observer.

Symbolists Images , in the meaning that the elements which compose them,
detached of their usual environment, mean far more than the sense which is
to them generally and normally allotted. Oneiric, owing to the fact of this hidden
meaning , different from the Tarots, is not directed by an interpretation of
traditional or esoteric base. The elements and their layout rise from pure
intuition of the author, selected and laid out according to free associations
of idea without intervention of the conscious analysis. With the way of the
scenes that one perceives in the dreams, these images present an
hyperrealist aspect but many ways can be interpreted according to the
sensitivity of the observer. They do not have any preset significance but
are not less " speaking " for whom lets rock by his own daydream,
for who lets gain by the various atmospheres.
